I needed something to keep my office tables from getting scratched up and this was perfect. The darker color is less of a true black and more of a very dark brownish color but I was aware of that from other reviews. It was very easy to apply, though I have a fair bit of experience in wrapping tabletops in vinyl. I always appreciate when a vinyl has a good thickness that allows it to be applied with a heat gun since the edges come out a lot cleaner and the surface has fewer air bubbles when applied with heat. I recommend watching some tutorials on applying vinyl to straight corners (or rounded depending on what you’re applying it to) if you want to learn how to apply vinyl to furniture. You won’t regret it.Love the product and sticks amazing.Put the same granite from the kitchen in the bathroom, I knew how I was going to decorate. Excellent inexpensive look.Bought this to use in remolding my travel trailer as I was on a tight budget and it was a cheaper option.Guess I got what I paid for. Out of the three brands of paper I bought this one was the thinnest and the hardest to work with as it tears very, very easily. Threw away more paper then I used from it tearing. Did not have that problem with the other brands I bought. It also bubbled and creased easier then the other brands and did not adhere well on any surface were it had less then two inches of contact.The paper didn’t stick at all made sure surface clean and dry prior to applying. This was the worst self adhesive product I have bought yet!I added this to a bay window sill that needed some TLC. It turned out beautiful and I love it. It was easy to measure, cut, and apply. I fumbled a bit with the application, but it stood the test and my inability did not negate its durability!
